The Leeds Jewish Community Pride awards has become an annual event produced by the Pride Award Committee on behalf of the Leeds Jewish Welfare Board to honour members and people who work within the Leeds Jewish Community. You, the general public, vote the awards.

The awards honour people who have made a significant impact on the Leeds Jewish Community over the past 12 months. The awards are aimed at honouring unsung heroes who do amazing work for others, but who sometimes go unrecognized. We have invited 30 community organisations to nominate. We are also inviting the community to nominate through the website, JLife and via text. The top 3 nominations of each category will be announced, and then you all can vote and decide who the category winners are, to be announced at the awards ceremony dinner.

There are 5 special awards together with 6 voting awards. New for 2016, we have introduced the business award which will be announced on the night, voted for by a panel of leading business personalities within our community. The awards will be presented in categories ranging from sports to volunteers and personality. Winners will be announced at the dinner to be held on Sunday 4th December 2016. Tickets for the awards ceremony will be available for up to 250 people, and will be on sale from Tuesday 15th November 2016 on 07808 742414. Keep coming back to the website for further information!
