The Leeds Jewish Community Pride awards has become an annual event produced by the Pride Award Committee on behalf of the Leeds Jewish Welfare Board to honour members and people who work within of the Leeds Jewish Community. The awards are voted by you, the general public.

This year the awards honour people who have made a significant impact on the Leeds Jewish Community over the past 12 months. The awards are aimed at honouring unsung heroes who do amazing work for others but who sometimes go unrecognized. This year we have invited 30 community organisations to nominate. The committee went to a variety of organisations and asked the community to nominate deserving individuals that they wanted to receive an award. The top 3 nominations of each category will be announced, and then you all can vote and decide who the category winners are, to be announced at the awards ceremony dinner.

There are 6 special awards together with 6 voting awards. The awards will be presented in categories ranging from sports to volunteers and personality. Winners will be announced at the dinner to be held on the 10th December 2017. Tickets for the awards ceremony will be available for up to 240 people, and will be on sale from 7th of November 2017 on 07808 742414. Keep coming back to the website for further information.
